The book is aimed at 6 – 8 year old children, but younger ones will enjoy having the stories read to them. The stories are beautifully illustrated by Carole Chevalier. Markus is a very confident mole who has a series of adventures with his friend Quigley the Wriggley, a worm. Together they go into space, help a lost dragon find his family, get involved in archaeology, and solve Farmer Tilly’s problem.
